Fused Glass Course
Fused glass is a term used to describe one of many kiln formed techniques, which uses heat within a kiln to stick glass together. This process has many possibilities and this workshop will introduce students to the fundamental basics of fused and slumped glass.
This 10 week course will teach you everything you need to know to get started. Topics covered include cutting glass, mold preparation, glass selection, project design, firing schedules, annealing, and compatibility testing.
Students will be introduced to several kiln glass techniques and experiment in each. Using the skills learnt students would be encouraged to push their own designs ideas and produce a unique final piece that will be exhibited in a final exhibition.
